First of all, let me apologize for the sweaty mess I am. It's July! I live in a place where it's 95-100 every day. I'm trying on sweaters and cardigans and jackets...oh my! So...I'm a sweaty mess! I also rigged a camera to take a picture for me, so if my angle is wonky...that's why! I feel sometimes it looks like I had my head shrunk in these pics, but I assure you, I'm still all intact!
Second of all, I cannot keep all of these clothes. My eyes were WAY bigger than my wallet this year, but that's how I shop the sale! I grab what I love because I know it will sell out fast. Then I go through it all, sleep on it, maybe sleep in it (kidding...kinda) and then decide what fits into my budget. I don't get any of this for free...I'm just like you, buying it with my own money! I just love Nordstrom and I know it's a good deal for quality clothes I can wear for a long time!
Thirdly, for a recap...I generally order a size Large in tops, or a 12-14 on bottom. If I size up or down in a piece, I will definitely let you know. Or, if I wish I would have, I'll let you know that too. Let's get to it!!!

I love ALL of these that I tried. It's going to be hard to pick. Do you want long, short, soft or super soft? The Barefoot dreams Circle cardigan was the first thing I grabbed. Now, I'll tell you, out of the box, it looked a little like a bathroom rug. For that money, I was expecting more. Then I put it on my body and all was right in the world. For reals! I'm wearing a L/XL, but it's roomy. I'm wondering if I should try the Medium? I would size down if in between! Also, these are my Spanx leggings. I bought these last year, but their baaaaaaack! Love them...love them...love them! Size up if in between on the leggings for sure!
Onto my BP cardigan and cute lace cami...I size down to a medium in this cardigan. It'd say it's a must have...it's only around $30, comfortable and comes in a million colors. If you get one cardi this sale, it should be the one! I'm wearing the cami in my regular size large. My jeans are not part of the sale, but I'll link those too, just in case!
I LOVED this Halogen cardigan from the moment I saw it online. Something about those arm stripes! It's very long and soft...and if you don't like the arm stripes like I do, they come in plain old solid colors too! I'm wearing this one in a large. The moto leggings are all things "cool". Imagine wearing these to drop your kids off at school, because they are comfy enough for that! Or dressed up and totally "sassafras!" Love them...keeping them! I'm wearing in a large but they are TIGHT! Definitely size up in these!
Next up is this mixed-stitch long cardigan by Caslon. It's also super soft and I love the flecks of color in it! I'm wearing this in a medium...again with the moto leggings!
Last, but not least, this Caslon hooded french terry. It's a nice cotton material and I love it! There's a similar sweater one here: http://shopstyle.it/l/OTcQ but I opted for the cotton one. It has a little tie in the waist if you want to cinch it up, or just leave it open like a regular cardigan! I have this one in a size large, as is the tee underneath. My jeans are the Madewell high-waist ones and they are lovely. They keep going in and out of stock and currently, they are out...but if I see them, I'll sound the alarms because they are great!
One thing I got too much of was active wear...specifically, Zella! But I love it and wear activewear pretty much daily, so I can see why I went crazy!!! Here are 3 looks I love, and 1 look from my friend Nicole and that may be my absolute favorite! I'm wearing larges in everything you see here, except the ruched tee (size up to XL)!You could also mix and match these pieces like crazy and have different outfits all week long!

Next up...tops! All sorts...cozy and fleecy and all sorts of goodness!
I have to say, this first one has been controversial. I've heard some bad reviews from it. But I really liked it. Maybe you have to be taller to pull it off? Either way, I have it paired with Zella live in leggings and my new Vans, and also dressed up more with jeans and booties! It works for me and I'll be keeping this one for sure! I'm wearing in a large and I love it! (I'm wearing last year's AOS Sarah skinny jeans...they are not in the sale this year, but still available. I linked the AOS Sarah jeans that are on sale too!)
Here's another Gibson cozy top for you. It's super soft and cozy, like the name implies, but it just doesn't do anything for me. It's kind of boxy and shapeless, so it'll be going back. So many cuter Gibson things in this world, this is one I can pass on. I'm wearing in a size large.
I love this Caslon twist top! It's fun, soft and long! Oh, and only $25...sign me up please! Again, these Madewell jeans are out of stock, but I'm crossing my fingers they come back because they are AMAZE-balls (yes, I said it...sorry!)
I grabbed this little top because I thought I could wear it now and in the fall. I'd grab this cardigan to go with it for fall...for now, it looks great with my Vince Camuto booties! Size down in the top and cardigan...I'm wearing a medium in both!
It may not look like it, but this is my favorite top! I have it in a large and DEFINITELY need a medium! But of course, they are out of stock. But it's super soft...has a hood and cute side buttons. I LOVE everything about it, except how big it is. If it does get restocked, size down!!!
Lastly...jackets! You can't go wrong with your jacket pick, I promise! Every one I put on my body was great!
This camo one is awesome! I'm wearing in a large, but if you are shorter, I'd size down as it's plenty roomy and long too!
My friends both loved this BlancNYC jacket. It's a fabulous color too! I needed to size up to an XL in it as it was a bit tight through the shoulders for me. Also, check out the camo pants...sooooo cute! Size down in those for sure! Nicole is 5'7 and Teri is 5'2.
I also tried this super cute faux leather jacket with a removable hood. You can go casual, or dressy with it and I LOVE it. This one will definitely live at my house this fall! It's also surprisingly heavy, so it'll take me well into late fall, early winter months!
